Sindoh 3DWOX 1 Review Basics
Not much has changed in the way of specs between the 3DWOX 200/201 series and the 3DWOX 1. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, however. Build volume got a touch larger, now measuring 8.2” x 7.9” x 7.2” for over 460 cubic inches. Unfortunately, the 3DWOX 1 itself is exactly as large as the 3DWOX 200, coming in at 17” x 17” x 17.3”.
Print resolution remains at a respectable 50-400 microns, with speeds up to 200mm/s. Despite that blazing max speed, best results are found between 20mm/s and 50mm/s, or about average. The 0.4mm single nozzle reaches temperatures up to 250C, allowing for use with ABS, PLA, PETG, and some other filaments. This is contrary to the 3DWOX 1’s predecessors, which required proprietary Sindoh Filaments. Connection options have stayed the same, however, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB.

Extremely User Friendly
Like all 3DWOXs before it, the 3DWOX 1 takes user experience to the next level. What does that mean for you? This 3D printer is dead easy to use. It comes preassembled and with its own slicing software, 3DWOX Desktop. This software is both easy to use and thorough, offering the advanced slicing options experts expect. You may even make profiles for 3rd party filaments here.
Moving on, the 3DWOX 1’s large, vibrant 5” display (conveniently located on TOP of the machine, not the bottom) is one of the best we’ve ever tested. It’s responsive, easy to read and use, and allows easy access to this 3D printer’s other great features. These features include assisted bed leveling, nozzle cleaning, and filament loading/unloading.
Despite being so large, the 3DWOX 1 is exceptionally quiet, running under 50dB and even offering a “quiet” mode. Another notable user-centric features include the flexible, magnetic removable heated print bed, which makes removing your finished models effortless. Finally, it’s worth noting that the 3DWOX 1 also comes with an interior LED, webcam, and full-system HEPA filter. Sindoh really left no stone unturned here.
Compatible with 3rd Party Filament
It’s always good to see companies learn from their mistakes. This time, Sindoh’s greatly made up for their sins of proprietary filament in the past. While you can still purchase Sindoh Cartridges, which use chipped filament spools with preloaded printing profiles, you may also safely use 3rd party filaments. Loading 3rd party filaments isn’t always a breeze, especially on the good chance your spool doesn’t fit inside an empty cartridge. Still, we count this move as a win for both customers and Sindoh.
Fully Enclosed, Highly Stable Frame
The 3DWOX 1 has impressive specs and the quality construction to back up some truly impressive prints. This 3D printer delivers on its promise to perform well enough for high-end prosumers or entry-level industrial tasks. The only thing keeping the 3DWOX 1 from being a true industrial workhorse is its lack of filament options. Otherwise, this heavy, sturdy, well-designed printer provides the ideal stable, temperature-controlled environment for 3D printing.
Sindoh 3DWOX 1 Review Cons
Poor Warranty
The Sindoh 3DWOX 1’s biggest sticking point is its price vs warranty. As a prosumer-quality machine with a price tag to match, you’d expect better than the 1-year Product Warranty and 3-month Parts Warranty. It’s a bad sign that we have more confidence in this machine than Sindoh does, but on that note, we suggest investigating an extended warranty for this relatively pricey 3D printer.
Sindoh 3DWOX 1 Review Verdict
Sindoh’s 3DWOX line has yet to disappoint and now is no different. While the 3DWOX 1 doesn’t improve upon many of the lineup’s key specs, it is by no means a carbon copy of its predecessors. Improvements to the heated print bed, internal camera, Sindoh software, and allowing for 3rd party filament all solidify the 3DWOX 1 as a superior machine.
Ultimately, we think the Sindoh 3DWOX 1 is worth its price and is a worthy addition to the 3DWOX line. Barring minor gripes like poor warranty options and frankly making 3rd party filament use harder than it should be, we whole wholeheartedly recommend the 3DWOX 1 to anyone seeking a top-tier 3D printing experience built with the customer in mind.
